FAQ
Straight answers.
Is it greasy? Will it ruin my shirt?
No. It's a whipped butter, not a balm — it absorbs in about 60 seconds on damp skin. Once it's in, nothing transfers. If you're using so much it stays slick, you're using too much: one coin-sized scoop covers chest, neck and forearms.
How long does the scent actually last?
8+ hours on skin at conversational distance. Not "trails through the room all day" — that's spray-cologne projection, a different thing. This is you smelling right when someone is close enough for it to matter. If you don't get 8 hours, the guarantee kicks in.
How do I get the longest hold out of one application?
One coin-sized scoop on damp skin, straight after a shower. Damp skin holds the fragrance oils far better than dry skin — it is the single biggest difference between an 8-hour wear and a 4-hour one.
Can this replace my cologne?
For daily wear, yes — that's how most customers use it. For maximum projection on a big night, layer it: VESPR on skin as the base that lasts, your spray on top for the first-hour blast. The butter keeps working long after the spray quits.
Are these the original fragrances?
No. VESPR scents are original interpretations inspired by well-known fragrances. We're not affiliated with the brands mentioned — we name them only so you know what scent territory you're buying.
Why is it so much cheaper than the fragrance it is inspired by?
Because you are not paying for the bottle, the campaign or the counter. The fragrances these are built around sell for $165 to $415 per 100 ml. VESPR is $39.90 for 200 g, which is $19.95 per 100 g, and $11.97 per 100 g on the five-jar pack. Same scent territory, worn on skin instead of sprayed, for a fraction of the price.
Will people actually notice it?
Honest answer: nobody can promise you a reaction, and any brand selling you "instant attraction" is covering for a weak product. What we can promise is 200 g net in the jar and eight hours of hold on your skin. In practice that is what gets commented on — someone standing close to you at 4 PM, not a chemical reaction. If it is gone before then, keep the jar and we refund you.
Do you put pheromones in it?
No, and that is a deliberate choice. Most of this category advertises a pheromone complex at a dose you cannot verify and cannot smell, and several of those brands have quietly dropped it later. We publish all 27 ingredients instead, percentages included. What makes someone turn round is a real fragrance load that is still on your skin eight hours later.
How long does one jar last?
6–10 weeks of daily use. Our subscription defaults to every 8 weeks — we would rather you run out for a couple of days than stockpile jars you have not opened. Using it every day? Pick the 8-week option.
How often will a subscription ship?
Every 8 weeks by default, because a jar lasts 6–10 weeks of daily use and most people do not apply it every single day. Three rhythms at checkout: 8 weeks for daily use, 10 for most people, 12 for a few times a week. We would rather match your actual usage than ship you product you have not finished.
How long does shipping take?
Orders are dispatched within 48 hours. Standard delivery is 7 to 14 business days, tracked, United States only — you get the tracking number the moment it moves, not two weeks later.
That's a window, not a promise dressed up as a guarantee. If your order sits past the top of it with no movement, email us and we chase it or refund it. We'd rather lose the sale than have you refreshing a tracking page.
Will I have to pay customs or import duties?
No. Duties and import taxes are included in the price you pay at checkout. VESPR is the importer of record on every US order — nothing is collected from you on delivery, and there is no customs fee to settle before your parcel is released.
What exactly does the 8-Hour Guarantee cover?
If your VESPR scent doesn't hold 8 hours on your skin, email us and we refund your first order in full. No return required, no questions asked, 30 days.
What's the return process if it doesn't work for me?
You don't return it. That's the whole point.
If the scent doesn't hold 8 hours on your skin, email us within 30 days with your order number. We refund your first order in full and the jar stays with you. No return label, no photos, no form, no explaining yourself to a support script.
Here's why we do it that way. Shipping a half-used jar of body butter back across the world helps nobody — and the brands that demand it know exactly what they're doing: the hassle is the policy. Most people give up and the company keeps the money. We'd rather carry the cost of being wrong on your first jar than build a refund process designed to be abandoned.
One email. That is the entire procedure.
